John Skipworth
Your Liberal Democrat candidate for Hindley
John has lived in Hindley for six years, he moved here to be near his son and family following his retirement from work as a Civil Servant based in London and Coventry.
Before returning to his roots in the North West John spent over 30 years serving as a School Governor and was a local Councillor between 1985 and 1998, serving on the Education Committee amongst others.
Outside politics John is an active Church attendee and closely involved with the work of his Church. His hobbies include playing chess and watching cricket as all levels.
